Just to reiterate the problem: there is NO evidence against the Rav, which is why the Dutch court threw out Israel's extradition request twice, before finally caving in to their pressure.
This is a politically-motivated vendetta by very corrupt people in the media, 'justice' system and government to keep the 80 year old Rav behind bars indefinitely, simply because he's very successful at bringing Jews back to God, which makes him - and the Torah world generally - Public Enemy Number 1.
So what can you do about this?
A few things:
1) Contribute to the Rav's enormous legal costs - which have already surpassed the astronomical sum of two million shekels. The government is trying to bankrupt the Rav's supporters, so they stop challenging the illegal way he's been kept behind bars.
Below, you'll find a flyer that contains three very strong statements from: Rav Yitzhak David Grossman, Rav Shalom Arush, and Rav Ofer Erez encouraging every member of Am Yisrael to participate in this enormous mitzvah of Pidyon Shvuim, or freeing a captive.
Rav Arush is telling everyone to contribute as much as they can, but at the very least 99 shekels for every member of their household.
Call the numbers at the bottom of the flyer to donate.
2) Another mass rally of support is being held outside the Tzalmon prison, in the North, where the Rav is currently being illegally held, on this Saturday night, motzae shabbat, 24th September. You can find more details of how to participate and where the subsidised buses are leaving from, all over the country, HERE. (There will be many of the biggest rabbis in attendance there.)
3) Pray for Rav Eliezer ben Ettia to be speedily released, and that he should have all the Heavenly help he needs to fight the very corrupt, evil things that are going on in Israel and the world, at every level.
4) Publicly stand up for Rav Berland anyway you can. As Rav Chaim Dovid Stern has repeatedly told us, he's the last test before Moshiach. You want your miracle? You want your easy life? You want things to ease up a little? Then it's time to do your part, put your hand in your pocket, and to support Rav Berland with all your koach. I know it's 'easier' and more convenient to stay home motzae shabbat, but that's the test, isn't it? If you really care about justice, God's tzaddikim and the spiritual state of the Jewish people, it's time to stand up and be counted.
