Since I’ve been debating whether or not to make the trip (because let’s be clear, the ONLY place I am happy to leave Eretz Yisrael for is Uman…), the UK has been engulfed with one massive crisis after another.
It started a couple of months’ back, when ‘Adrian / Khaleed’ the Muslim convert drove his car at a bunch of people on Westminster Bridge, then ran over to the Houses of Parliament and hacked a policeman to death.
When that happened, a lot of the British Jews I know (who are completely in denial about what’s really going on there) told me: “The bloke was just mentally ill, and happened to be Muslim. What he did had nothing to do with Islam, really.”
Uhh, ok. Whatever. If you say so.
Then barely a month later, a Libyan muslim whose family received asylum in the UK, Salman Abedi, blew himself up outside an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, killing around 26 people and wounding dozens more.
The British Jews in denial went strangely quiet at that point. No-one tried to explain to me that it was just ‘random mental illness’, that seemed to be much more prevalent in the Muslim community than elsewhere.
As I was reading the news reports for that incident, I noticed that Abedi’s brother was called ‘Hashem’, and UK news sites had a bunch of stunning quotes about ‘Hashem’ knowing all about the terror attack, and being actively involved in planning more...
For anyone with eyes to see, it seemed clear that ‘Hashem’ is turning the heat up on the UK, and is using ISIS et al as His proxies.
A little while later, another terror attack: three muslims from my original hometown of Barking, Essex, decided to drive their van into a bunch of people hanging out by London Bridge, then got out and stabbed and hacked a few more passersby, for good measure. Another 7 dead, and dozens more wounded and severely traumatised.
At this point, the denial went up another notch: no-one was even discussing the problem anymore, because the forum for public debate in the UK has been so poisoned by political correctness, no-one can bring themselves to actually name it. Instead, they’ve reverted back to that wonderful British trait of pretending it doesn’t exist (see ‘Carry on up the Khyber’, if you have no idea what I’m talking about), and carrying on as though they haven’t got a care in the world.
You can understand why. The UK is home to millions of muslims, and a lot of them are radicalised and angry. The scope of the problem facing the country is so enormous, who wouldn’t rather drink a cup of tea and turn on the telly instead of having to actually confront it?
But that’s not all that’s been going on in the beleaguered country. If the turmoil from BREXIT isn’t bad enough, the latest general election nearly saw Jeremy Corbyn, an unreformed Marxist anti-semite, the most ‘loony left’ politician to sit in parliament for about 30 years, almost elected as prime minister.
This guy has plans to start taxing the house-owning classes so heavily, there’ll be nothing left of them. One of my house-owning relatives told me that if Corbyn got in, he’d be making aliya pronto - along with most of the rest of the Jewish community.
In the meantime, the British parliament is ‘hung’, which means no single party has enough seats to govern alone, and they need to form a coalition, which the present PM, Theresa May, seems to have just about managed to do.
That’s quite a lot of big news headlines for one month, you might think. But today, I woke up to the news that a 27 storey apartment building on a council estate in North Kensington (an otherwise very posh piece of prime central London real estate) - went up in flames at 1am yesterday night.
From what I can tell, nearly all of the building's residents are immigrants, probably muslims, and it sounds as though hundreds and hundreds of people could have died.
If the dire predictions are correct, that’s the worst fire I ever remember happening in the UK, in my lifetime.
The UK is clearly getting a big beating from Upstairs, and if they discover that the fire was arson - or there’s even a suggestion that it was arson - that could potentially ignite the next round of Muslim aggression in a big way, because not one of the eye-witnesses who escaped from the building wasn’t called ‘Mohammed’, Zuhaira, or some other name common in the Caliphate.
London is burning. Mamash.
God has a lot of old scores to settle with Her Majesty’s Government, not least the whole mess they left behind them here, deliberately, in Eretz Yisrael, before Israel declared independence.
The departing British forces armed and trained the Arabs, turned a blind eye (and tacitly encouraged…) Arab violence towards Jews, and came down like a ton of bricks on any Jew ‘guilty’ of daring to fight back against Arab aggression, and stand up for themselves.
This behaviour continued over the next 70 years’, too, with British politicians routinely making excuses for, and tacitly encouraging, Palestinian terror and intimidation against Israeli Jews. Britain is ‘anti’ Jewish expansion, ‘anti’ Jewish settlements, and fundamentally, ‘anti’ Jewish life in Israel. Always has been, always will be.
And let’s not even talk about the hundreds and thousands of Jews who were turned back, or prevented from immigrating to Palestine as World War II raged on.
It really seems to me that Hashem (the One and Only) is starting to tie up a lot of those loose ends now. Every where you look, there's old scores being settled, because GOD IS REAL, and the people who have been living life in denial of that are starting to get more and more slaps and wake-up calls.
British Jews, don’t wait for Jeremy Corbyn!
Move while you’ve still got some cash and assets left. There may be much less time left on the clock than you think…
