Over the years, many people predicted I was going to end up in an institution one day, and I'm thrilled to finally be able to prove them right ☺
As things progress, I'm going to split more of my stuff off, so you'll find more of my stuff about trying to live our emuna; general musing about G-d and Jewish life, generally, and of course some of the challenges and thrills of being a Jewish mother and wife, in Israel, here, on Emunaroma.
I'm still going to post some health stuff up, as the whim takes me, but it'll be less 'technical' and more emuna-focussed.
Meanwhile, over at JEMI, I'm going to do (G-d willing…) much more hands-on, practical blogs about specific aspects of our spiritual, emotional and physical aspects of staying healthy, a lot of which is going to dove-tail in with the new JEMI courses, that (again, G-d willing…) I'm going to start teaching after Pesach.
There's three tracks:
1) Informal, free JEMI education - podcasts, blogs, essays etc.
2) More formal, paid JEMI classes - which can be done in person, or on-line.
3) The really formal, 16 week JEMI Diploma - which can currently only be done in person, but will give participants some solid tools to start taking their health back 'in-house'. (Click the links for more details).
It's all very exciting. For years, I've been wondering why there hasn't been a more formal Jewish approach to learning and practising halachically-acceptable forms of energy medicine.
One of the things I'm really hoping JEMI will start to do is to set a standard for what Jewish energy medicine and therapeutic approaches should be, namely, firmly focussed on G-d, and on healing and developing the Jewish soul, as well as trying to keep us physically healthy.
Dear readers, I could not have got to this stage without you, and without your feedback, support and comments (however you send them to me) - so thank you!
And keep it coming. You know, Jewish women got the Jews out of exile and Egypt when the men had all cracked-up and couldn't take it any more. And we're going to do it again, together, with G-d's help and a LOT of praying!
So please join me in trying to get our kids off Ritalin, and trying to stop our doctors from pushing everyone onto Prozac, and trying to get Am Yisrael healthy again, body, mind and soul. With a bit of team-work, maybe we could even get Geula before Pesach - which would be great for me, as with all this new website stuff going on, I am SO behind on my cleaning…
