Things are pretty calm in Jerusalem at the moment, thanks to 400 security guards posted on pretty much every corner of town. But there’s still a sense, at least in my home, that it’s the calm before the storm, and that ‘something’ is in the offing.
I’ve had those feelings before, and often they were answered by a min-war in Gaza, or something similar. I’ve also occasionally had those feelings before, and nothing happened. I was on shpilkes for weeks, and then the tension and pressure kind of faded without any obvious release.
So who knows what’s really going on, but I feel pretty weird for no obvious reason. Like I said, either Moshiach really is coming, or I’m going mad. I guess time will tell which one it was.
